National Bank of Pakistan, one of the country’s largest and most reputable financial institutions, is seeking a seasoned professional to join as Wing Head - HR, Admin & Coordination Wing (VP / SVP) based in Karachi. This role is pivotal in supporting the Bank’s mission to foster financial well-being and sustainable growth through efficient human resource and administrative management. The successful candidate will lead HR, administrative, and support functions within the Inclusive Development Group (IDG), ensuring seamless coordination and operational excellence across Head Office and field offices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage HR, administrative, and support services for the IDG, ensuring effective coordination and uninterrupted operational support.
- Oversee workforce planning and recruitment, coordinating with HR Management Group (HRMG) for internal placements and external hiring in line with organizational policies.
- Manage employee lifecycle activities including transfers, postings, job rotations, contract renewals, mandatory leave, retirements, and other HR-related matters in collaboration with HRMG and stakeholders.
- Supervise the Annual Performance Appraisal process within IDG, ensuring timely completion, accurate reporting, and compliance with policies.
- Administer employee benefits and entitlements such as travel allowances, leave encashment, communication facilities, vehicles, and other approved benefits in coordination with relevant departments.
- Oversee administrative operations including office and facilities management, utilities, fixed assets, transportation, travel, and logistics.
- Manage procurement and vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effective and timely administrative arrangements.
- Monitor and control the Group’s OPEX and CAPEX budgets, ensuring prudent use of resources and compliance with financial policies.
- Ensure governance, internal controls, and compliance across HR, Administration, and Support functions, addressing audit and regulatory observations promptly.
- Lead capability development and succession planning initiatives, focusing on SME and Agriculture functions through training programs, e-learning, and external development opportunities.
- Develop and manage the HR, Admin & Support Wing team, including performance management, resource allocation, staff development, and succession planning.
- Perform additional assignments as directed by supervisors.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum graduation or equivalent degree from a university or institute recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
- At least 8 years of banking experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role within HR, Finance, or Administration.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and managerial capabilities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in planning, coordination, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Sound knowledge of banking policies, administrative controls, and compliance requirements.
- Good understanding of budgeting, procurement, vendor management, and facilities management.
- Proficiency in MS Office and preparation of management reports and presentations.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- A Master’s degree from an HEC-recognized university or institution will be preferred.
- Employment will be on a contractual basis for three years, with the possibility of renewal at management’s discretion.
