Sardar Bibi Hospital, located in Ferozwala, Shahdara, Lahore, Punjab, is seeking a qualified and dedicated Women Medical Officer (WMO) to join the medical team for the night shift. This full-time position requires working from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM, providing routine medical assessments and patient care during the night hours. The role involves responding promptly to patient needs, maintaining accurate medical documentation, and collaborating effectively with hospital staff. The night shift typically experiences a manageable patient volume, allowing for focused and attentive care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and manage patients presenting during the night shift.
- Provide initial diagnosis, treatment, and medical advice within the scope of practice.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to any changes.
- Handle routine medical cases as well as urgent situations as they arise.
- Prescribe medications and treatments in line with professional standards and hospital protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
- Coordinate with nursing staff and other hospital team members regarding patient care.
- Refer or escalate cases requiring specialist or emergency intervention.
- Communicate professionally with patients and their attendants.
- Adhere to hospital policies, medical ethics, and healthcare standards.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC).
- Relevant clinical experience is preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts.
- Professional, responsible, and patient-centered approach.
- Willingness and ability to work from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
