We are currently looking for a skilled Full Stack WordPress Developer to join our Islamabad team in a hybrid, onsite role.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins to meet client requirements.
- Build responsive, mobile-friendly, and user-centric websites that enhance user experience.
- Implement custom functionality using PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Optimize website performance, scalability, and security to ensure smooth operation.
- Integrate third-party APIs and tools seamlessly into WordPress sites.
- Manage MySQL databases and ensure efficient back-end operations.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Collaborate closely with designers, marketers, and other developers to meet project goals.
- Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress, PHP, and web development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years proven experience as a Backend WordPress Developer.
- Strong proficiency in WordPress development, including themes, plugins, custom post types, hooks, and filters.
- Solid skills in PHP, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery.
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
- Experience managing MySQL databases.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Proficient with version control systems, particularly Git/GitHub.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
