We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Full Stack WordPress Developer to join our Islamabad team in a hybrid, onsite role.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins to meet client requirements.
- Build responsive, mobile-friendly, and user-centric websites ensuring excellent user experience across devices.
- Implement custom functionality using PHP, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Optimize website performance, scalability, and security to maintain high standards.
- Integrate third-party APIs and tools seamlessly into WordPress sites.
- Manage MySQL databases and ensure smooth back-end operations.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Collaborate closely with designers, marketers, and other developers to meet project goals.
- Stay current with the latest trends in WordPress, PHP, and web development to continually improve solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years proven experience as a Backend WordPress Developer.
- Strong proficiency in WordPress development including themes, plugins, custom post types, hooks, and filters.
- Solid knowledge of PHP, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery.
- Expertise in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind.
- Experience managing MySQL databases.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Working knowledge of version control systems, especially Git/GitHub.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
