WordPress Developer

Ozone Limited is looking for a motivated WordPress Developer to join their team on a full-time, on-site basis. This role is ideal for candidates with 6 months to 1 year of experience, though freshers with practical WordPress projects or a strong eagerness to learn are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining professional websites tailored to various business needs. A solid understanding of WordPress fundamentals, website responsiveness, performance optimization, and basic SEO is essential to succeed in this position.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites to meet client requirements.
- Create responsive landing pages and business websites that perform well across devices.
- Work extensively with WordPress themes, plugins, and popular page builders such as Elementor and Gutenberg.
- Customize website layouts using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP to enhance user experience.
- Build and maintain WooCommerce websites and online stores, ensuring smooth functionality.
- Optimize website speed, responsiveness, and overall user experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve plugin conflicts, layout issues, and other website errors efficiently.
- Implement basic on-page SEO strategies and adhere to website security best practices.
- Manage website backups, updates, migrations, and third-party integrations.
- Collaborate closely with team members to deliver projects on time and according to specifications.

Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with WordPress CMS and its core functionalities.
- Experience using page builders such as Elementor, Gutenberg, or similar tools.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and responsive web design principles.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript and PHP for customization purposes.
- Understanding of WordPress themes, plugins, and website hosting environments.
- Awareness of website performance optimization and SEO fundamentals.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with WooCommerce, custom theme development, API integrations, cPanel, DNS configuration, and website migrations is a plus.
- Candidates with a bachelor’s degree are preferred but not mandatory.
- The role offers a competitive starting salary from Rs 50,000 per month.
