Wordpress Developer

We are looking for a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining high-performance WordPress websites for international clients. This role requires strong expertise in both Divi Builder and Bricks Builder, along with proficiency in custom theme development, plugin customization, website optimization, and third-party integrations. The ideal candidate should be able to translate design requirements into responsive, visually polished, secure, and scalable WordPress websites while adhering to clean coding standards. This position is based in Karachi or Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan, and requires availability during EST working hours.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and web applications.
- Build responsive, high-quality websites using Divi Builder and Bricks Builder.
- Develop custom layouts, templates, reusable components, and dynamic content structures with both builders.
- Customize existing WordPress themes and develop custom themes and plugins as needed.
- Convert Figma/PSD designs into pixel-perfect, responsive WordPress websites.
- Optimize website speed, Core Web Vitals, SEO, and overall performance.
- Develop and customize WooCommerce features, including product pages, checkout flows, and payment gateway integrations.
- Integrate third-party APIs, CRMs, and external services.
- Ensure website security, backups, maintainability, and version control.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website bugs, compatibility issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and project managers to deliver projects on schedule.
- Communicate effectively with USA-based clients and team members during EST working hours.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 2+ years of professional WordPress development experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise with WordPress development, customization, and maintenance.
- Mandatory proficiency in both Divi Builder and Bricks Builder.
- Solid knowledge of PHP, including object-oriented programming (OOP).
- Good command of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience developing custom WordPress themes, plugins, templates, and reusable components.
- Experience with WooCommerce development and customization.
- Strong understanding of MySQL databases and query optimization.
- Familiarity with WordPress REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Knowledge of WordPress security best practices, backups, and updates.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines.
- Willingness to work consistently during EST time zone hours.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Previous experience working with USA-based clients or international development teams.
- Familiarity with hosting environments such as cPanel, VPS, and cloud hosting.
- Experience with headless WordPress architectures.
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and design implementation.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
- Proven ability to optimize websites built with Divi Builder and Bricks Builder.
