Wordpress Developer

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to join our engineering team and create, customize, and maintain high-performance WordPress websites for international clients. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with both Divi Builder and Bricks Builder, along with expertise in custom theme development, plugin customization, website optimization, and third-party integrations. You will be responsible for translating design requirements into responsive, visually polished, secure, and scalable WordPress websites while adhering to clean coding standards. This role requires availability to work during EST time zone hours and is based in Karachi or Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and web applications.
- Build responsive, high-quality websites using Divi Builder and Bricks Builder.
- Develop custom layouts, templates, reusable components, and dynamic content structures with both builders.
- Customize existing WordPress themes and develop custom themes and plugins as needed.
- Convert Figma/PSD designs into pixel-perfect, responsive WordPress websites.
- Optimize website speed, Core Web Vitals, SEO, and overall performance.
- Develop and customize WooCommerce functionality, including product pages, checkout flows, and payment gateway integrations.
- Integrate third-party APIs, CRMs, and external services.
- Ensure website security, backups, maintainability, and version control.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, compatibility issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and project managers to deliver projects on time.
- Communicate effectively with USA-based clients and team members during required working hours.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of professional WordPress development experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise in both Divi Builder and Bricks Builder (experience with only one is insufficient).
- Proficiency in PHP, including object-oriented programming (OOP).
- Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience developing custom WordPress themes, plugins, templates, and reusable components.
- Experience with WooCommerce development and customization.
- Good understanding of MySQL databases and query optimization.
- Experience with WordPress REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Knowledge of WordPress security best practices, backups, and updates.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines.
- Willingness to work consistently during EST time zone hours.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Previous experience working with USA-based clients or international development teams.
- Familiarity with hosting environments such as cPanel, VPS, and cloud hosting.
- Experience with headless WordPress architectures.
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and design implementation.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
- Proven ability to optimize websites built with Divi Builder and Bricks Builder.
