We are currently seeking a full-time Junior WordPress Developer based in Lahore to work on-site during night shift hours (7 PM – 4 AM) to coordinate with our US-based clients and team. This role involves assisting in the development, customization, and maintenance of WordPress websites, including themes, plugins, and page-builder-based sites. It offers an excellent opportunity for someone early in their development career to gain hands-on experience working on live client projects within a fast-paced agency setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and customizing responsive WordPress websites and landing pages
- Implement front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Support back-end functionality and perform basic PHP customizations
- Work with popular WordPress page builders such as Elementor and Divi, as well as theme frameworks
- Perform troubleshooting, bug fixes, and routine site maintenance
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
- Follow WordPress security best practices under the guidance of senior team members
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and senior developers to meet client requirements
- Contribute to internal development workflows and engage in continuous learning
Required Qualifications
- 6 months to 1.5 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development; agency experience is a plus
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP
- Experience customizing WordPress themes and plugins
- Familiarity with at least one WordPress page builder (Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, etc.)
- Basic understanding of responsive design principles
- Willingness to work night shifts (7 PM – 4 AM) on-site in Lahore
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience/portfolio
- Strong eagerness to learn, accept feedback, and grow within a team-based agency environment
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Exposure to version control tools such as Git is advantageous but not required
- Basic knowledge of SEO fundamentals and site performance optimization is a plus
