WordPress Developer

We are looking for a skilled and motivated WordPress Developer to join our on-site development team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites, with a solid understanding of modern web development standards. This role demands a technically proficient and detail-oriented developer who is enthusiastic about leveraging AI tools to improve development efficiency and productivity. The position is full-time, working Monday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, offering a monthly salary range of PKR 40,000 to 60,000.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites according to project requirements.
- Create responsive, user-friendly, and visually engaging websites.
- Customize WordPress themes, plugins, layouts, and functionalities to meet client needs.
- Effectively use page builders such as Elementor and other WordPress tools.
- Write and modify code in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP as necessary.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, security, and SEO best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress errors, bugs, and technical issues promptly.
- Manage website updates, backups, migrations, and ongoing maintenance tasks.
- Integrate third-party tools, plugins, and APIs when required.
- Collaborate closely with design and marketing teams to ensure high-quality website delivery.
- Research and implement appropriate technical solutions tailored to diverse project needs.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong grasp of WordPress CMS, themes, plugins, and customization techniques.
- Hands-on experience with Elementor or similar page builders.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with website speed optimization, security protocols, and basic SEO practices.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to maintain and resolve WordPress site issues efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and consistently meet project deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Ability to utilize AI tools for coding assistance, debugging, troubleshooting, and research, while critically reviewing and customizing AI-generated code.
- Interest in exploring and integrating new AI tools into daily development workflows.
- While AI tool experience is advantageous, strong WordPress fundamentals and practical technical skills remain the highest priority.
- This role is based on-site at 1st Floor, 436-Q, Phase 2, DHA, Opposite Avenue Mall, Ghazi Road, Lahore. Candidates should be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
