WordPress Developer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated WordPress Developer to join our on-site team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites, with a solid grasp of modern web development practices. This role requires a developer who is technically strong, detail-oriented, and eager to leverage emerging AI tools to enhance productivity and coding efficiency. The position offers a full-time schedule from Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a monthly salary range of PKR 40,000 to 60,000.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites to meet project requirements.
- Build responsive, user-friendly, and visually appealing websites.
- Customize WordPress themes, plugins, layouts, and functionalities.
- Utilize page builders such as Elementor and other WordPress tools effectively.
- Write and modify HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP code as needed.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, security, and SEO best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress errors, bugs, and technical issues promptly.
- Manage website updates, backups, migrations, and ongoing maintenance tasks.
- Integrate third-party tools, plugins, and APIs when required.
- Collaborate closely with design and marketing teams to deliver quality website projects.
- Research and implement appropriate technical solutions tailored to diverse project needs.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio.
- In-depth understanding of WordPress CMS, themes, plugins, and customization techniques.
- Hands-on experience with Elementor or similar page builders.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with website speed optimization, security measures, and basic SEO.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to maintain WordPress websites independently.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines consistently.
- Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies and development practices.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar platforms is an advantage.
- Ability to use AI tools for coding assistance, debugging, troubleshooting, and research.
- Capability to review, test, and customize AI-generated code critically rather than relying on it blindly.
- Interest in exploring and integrating new AI tools into daily development workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
- Reliable commute to the on-site location or willingness to relocate to Lahore before starting work is preferred.
