We are seeking a dependable WordPress developer to join our team for a long-term website rebuild project. This role involves custom WordPress development with a focus on WooCommerce, Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), multilingual site setup, user role management, pricing logic implementation, and thorough testing. The developer will work closely with existing site functionalities to ensure seamless integration and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize WordPress websites, focusing on WooCommerce functionality.
- Implement and manage Advanced Custom Fields Pro (ACF Pro) for tailored content management.
- Set up and maintain multilingual capabilities using WPML.
- Utilize PHP hooks and filters to extend and modify site behavior.
- Manage user roles and permissions to control access levels appropriately.
- Handle product variations and pricing logic within WooCommerce.
- Conduct testing of existing plugins and site features to ensure stability and compatibility.
- Use Git or other version control systems to manage codebase changes effectively.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients in English to understand requirements and provide updates.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin work.
- Strong knowledge of WooCommerce customization and product management.
- Proficiency with Advanced Custom Fields Pro (ACF Pro) and WPML for multilingual setups.
- Solid understanding of PHP, especially hooks and filters, to customize site functionality.
- Experience managing user roles and permissions within WordPress.
- Familiarity with product variations and pricing logic in e-commerce environments.
- Competence in testing plugins and troubleshooting issues on live websites.
- Experience with Git or similar version control tools.
- Excellent communication skills in English for client interactions.
This is a part-time, long-term position offering consistent project work. The role is remote, with a preference for candidates based in Pakistan. Hours will be tracked based on project needs.
Compensation: PKR 100,000 per month
