WordPress & Shopify Developer

HA Technologies is seeking a skilled and experienced WordPress and Shopify Developer to join our team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in developing and customizing WordPress websites and Shopify stores. This role requires the ability to create, maintain, and optimize responsive, secure, and high-performance websites that deliver a seamless user experience. The candidate should be proactive, technically proficient, and comfortable communicating with international clients through online meetings.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, including themes and plugins.
- Build and manage e-commerce websites using WooCommerce and Shopify platforms.
- Customize Shopify themes and stores to meet specific client requirements.
- Handle both frontend and backend development tasks.
- Design responsive and user-friendly website layouts.
- Optimize website speed, security, and overall performance.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, fix bugs, and manage website migrations.
- Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, and payment gateways.
- Utilize Elementor and other page builders for website creation and customization.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand project needs and provide regular updates.
- Participate in client meetings via Zoom and other online platforms.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in WordPress website development.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify store development and customization.
- Strong knowledge of WooCommerce and e-commerce functionalities.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
- Experience working with Elementor, WordPress themes, and plugins.
- Familiarity with Shopify Liquid is a plus.
- Understanding of website hosting, cPanel, and domain management.
- Knowledge of website speed optimization, security protocols, and SEO best practices.
- Expertise in responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Urdu.
- Ability to professionally engage with clients and clearly understand their requirements.
- Comfortable attending and participating in Zoom meetings with clients.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience in custom WordPress theme and plugin development.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with website migration processes, caching techniques, and performance optimization.
- Exposure to AI tools that enhance development productivity is advantageous.
