We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic WordPress & Shopify Intern to join our team at our DHA Phase 3, Lahore office. This full-time internship is ideal for fresh graduates or entry-level candidates who have a foundational understanding of website development and want to gain hands-on experience with WordPress and Shopify platforms. The role offers a great opportunity to develop practical skills in web development and e-commerce within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, customization, and maintenance of WordPress and Shopify websites.
- Create, edit, and manage website pages, products, content, and media.
- Support theme customization and implement website design updates.
- Install, configure, and manage WordPress plugins and Shopify applications.
- Conduct website testing, troubleshoot issues, and report bugs.
- Ensure websites are responsive and optimized for both desktop and mobile devices.
- Assist in applying basic SEO best practices to improve site visibility.
- Collaborate effectively with designers, developers, and project managers on assigned tasks.
- Maintain high website quality standards and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Stay informed about industry trends, tools, and best practices to enhance skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of WordPress and Shopify platforms.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
- Understanding of website structure, themes, and plugins.
- Strong eagerness to learn and develop technical skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with page builders such as Elementor or WPBakery.
- Basic knowledge of WooCommerce.
- Understanding of Shopify theme customization.
- Awareness of basic SEO principles and website optimization techniques.
- Previous academic or personal projects related to web development.
