WordPress / Shopify Web Developer

We are looking for a dedicated WordPress developer to join our team full-time at our Sialkot office. This role requires the candidate to be currently residing in Sialkot and available to work onsite. Remote candidates or those willing to relocate will not be considered. The ideal applicant will have strong technical skills in WordPress development and be capable of managing projects independently. Key Responsibilities
Develop complete WordPress websites from initial concept through to deployment, ensuring high-quality and fully functional results. Handle both front-end and back-end development tasks, showcasing versatility and technical expertise. Convert custom designs created in tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch into responsive, accessible WordPress themes. Install, configure, and customize WordPress plugins to meet project requirements. Create and maintain custom themes, including child themes tailored specifically to client needs. Optimize websites for speed, security, and search engine performance by applying basic SEO and performance best practices. Collaborate effectively with the team to understand project goals and provide regular updates on progress. Take initiative in managing assigned tasks independently and suggest improvements to enhance overall project outcomes.

Required Qualifications
Proven experience in WordPress development with a strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to build complete websites. Solid knowledge of PHP, particularly within the context of WordPress theme and plugin development. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to ensure responsive and user-friendly web designs. Experience converting custom design files into fully functional WordPress themes. Familiarity with plugin integration and customization to suit specific project needs. Understanding of child theme creation and custom theme development from scratch. Basic knowledge of SEO principles and website performance optimization techniques. Strong communication skills to clearly understand requirements and provide progress reports. Self-motivated and capable of working independently without constant supervision.
