IS Enterprises, a leading heavy haulage and transportation company, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Workshop Store Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the workshop store operations, including spare parts, tools, equipment, consumables, inventory control, and maintaining computerized stock records for the company’s heavy haulage fleet. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments to ensure smooth workshop operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily operations of the Workshop Store, ensuring efficient receipt, inspection, recording, storage, and issuance of spare parts, tools, lubricants, consumables, and workshop materials.
- Maintain accurate computerized inventory and stock records, performing data entry for all stock receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments.
- Keep detailed records including Material Requisition, Goods Receiving, Material Issue, and Stock Transfer documentation.
- Monitor stock levels to identify replenishment needs, conducting regular physical stock counts and stock reconciliation.
- Ensure proper identification, arrangement, and safe storage of all materials.
- Maintain records of spare parts and materials issued for trucks, trailers, heavy vehicles, and workshop equipment.
- Coordinate closely with Workshop/Maintenance, Procurement, Operations, and Accounts departments to support operational efficiency.
- Monitor stock movement and ensure all transactions are properly documented.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and stock reports.
- Supervise store personnel and enforce compliance with company procedures and standards.

Required Qualifications

- DAE or Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, Automotive, Electrical, or a related technical field is mandatory.
- Candidates with relevant technical qualifications and strong practical experience in heavy vehicle or fleet workshop stores will also be considered.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Workshop Store, Fleet Store, Spare Parts Store, Maintenance Store, or similar environments.
- Experience within transportation, heavy haulage, logistics, fleet, or heavy vehicle companies is highly preferred.
- Practical knowledge of heavy vehicle/truck and trailer spare parts, workshop tools, lubricants, consumables, and maintenance materials.
- Proven experience in inventory control, stock receiving and issuing, stock reconciliation, computerized inventory management, and store documentation.

Computer & Software Skills

- Proficient in MS Excel for inventory records, stock reports, reconciliation, and data management.
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience with inventory or store management software is required.
- Ability to maintain computerized stock records, material receiving/issuing records, and inventory reports.
- Familiarity with MS Word, email, and other office applications.
- Ability to operate or quickly learn ERP, inventory, fleet, or other company-specific software.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Good knowledge of heavy vehicle and workshop spare parts.
- Strong inventory and stock control skills, with excellent numerical and record-keeping abilities.
- Good organizational and supervisory skills, capable of managing store personnel effectively.
- Responsible, disciplined, honest, and able to maintain accurate and confidential records.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced transportation or heavy haulage environment.

Compensation

- Monthly salary range: Rs 40,000 to Rs 42,000
