YouTube Video Editor

VidCity is a dynamic video production and animation agency based in Karachi, specializing in creating engaging content for YouTube creators and brands across the US, Europe, and the Middle East. We are seeking a skilled YouTube Video Editor who can transform raw footage into compelling videos that captivate audiences until the very end. This role primarily involves editing faceless content, where you will craft the story, pacing, visuals, and sound from the ground up, working closely with our team from initial edit through to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit faceless YouTube videos by assembling scripts and raw assets into polished final exports.
- Source and integrate B-roll footage that enhances and supports the narrative.
- Perform sound design, including music selection, sound effects (SFX), and ensuring a clean, balanced audio mix.
- Apply color grading techniques to maintain a consistent and professional visual style.
- Adhere to deadlines and efficiently incorporate feedback to refine the final product.

Required Qualifications
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro with a strong command of its editing tools and workflows.
- Demonstrated experience editing faceless videos, with a solid understanding of storytelling through visuals.
- Keen eye for selecting appropriate B-roll footage and managing pacing to keep viewers engaged.
- Competent in sound design and color grading to enhance video quality.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to accept and apply constructive feedback.
- A portfolio or sample work showcasing relevant editing projects is mandatory.

- Position: YouTube Video Editor
- Employment Type: Full-time, on-site
- Working Hours: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday to Saturday
- Salary: Up to PKR 75,000, commensurate with skills and experience
- Location: Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Block 13A, Karachi
