An exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join a well-established Accountancy Practice based in Manchester, UK. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for accounts preparation, R & D claim as well as VAT returns, Paye, and bookkeeping; they will have the opportunity to manage their own portfolio of clients over time.

The successful candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a UK-based practice and within a similar role and will be part or fully ACCA / ACA qualified. Previous accounts preparation, Vat, and R & D claim experience is essential for this role alongside a proactive approach and positive attitude.

Paye Preparation of month end and year-end accounts
Preparing and finalising statutory accounts
Opportunity to manage own portfolio of clients in the future
Building and maintaining client relationships
Answering any client queries

Senior Accountant Position Requirements

ACCA / ACA part or fully qualified
3+ years' experience within a similar position
Accounts preparation experience

R & D claim experience

Microsoft Excel to an intermediate level
Knowledge of Sage, Xero, Quickbooks, digita/any other accounts submission software
Able to prioritise workload
Excellent communication skills

Salary 75K - 90K Pkr depending on experience

28 days holiday including Bank Holidays
