SQA Engineer

The Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Executive role is a key contributor within our product development and testing team.

Responsibilities

· Consult with product development to evaluate system interfaces, operational requirements, and performance requirements of overall system.

· Experience leveraging tools/techniques to execute test cases (Zephyr is a plus). Should be familiar with session-based testing as well.

· Define test methods and create test plans for new or updated software projects to determine if the software will perform accurately and reliably according to user stories as well as established standards under both normal and abnormal conditions.

· Recommend design improvements or corrections to engineers throughout the development process.

· Maintain effective communication with the project software engineers on project limitation, capability, performance requirement and hardware interface changes.

· Execute test plans and create test reports to describe program evaluation, testing, and correction

· Create test tools that facilitate data gathering and test method execution.

· Support clinical studies by validating data collection processes.

· Hands on manual testing, Experience with performance, security/ automation testing e.g. Selenium is a must

· Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting

· Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

· Applies principles of SDLC and methodologies like agile software and product security, scalability, documentation practices and has understanding of STLC

· Design and verify test cases using functional requirements and UI specifications (nonfunctional requirements).

· Able to Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability

· Automated functional, load, and performance testing a plus

Skills And Qualifications

· Proven experience in Agile working methodologies and in testing automation tools including Selenium

· Good understanding of CICD

· Good knowledge of creating rich user experiences using industry standard technologies
