1. Desk Work
Conduct market research to assess donor priorities and identify opportunities for resource mobilization and prepare/regularly update contact list of potential donors along with the name of concerned person;
Review websites, newspapers and subscriptions and assess funding opportunities for PCCHI (project of CHIP) and identify all possible means of resource mobilization, to include but not limited to philanthropists, charity organizations, fund raising events, child/women sponsorship systems, mass membership drives, businesses (corporate social responsibility), donor agencies for longer term programs, micro-financing programs, small scale commercial ventures, foundations, charity shows etc.
Prepare weekly update of funding opportunity and develop and maintain data base of donors, project concept notes and project proposals.
2. Meetings
To conduct meetings with potential donors for generation funds, attend any meetings, workshops, seminars where there is a potential for resources generation and prepare meeting minutes and disseminate these to all concerned;
3. Actual Fundraising
To initiate and generate ideas for resource generation and develop feasibility for organizing fund raising events and execute them in a manner that each event not only raise its expense but also generates funds for PCCHI.
