I worked as an Audit Senior at Ernst & Young Middle East – Dubai on an international secondment under Global Mobility Program. During the tenure of 3.5 years I have been actively involved in both complex and non-complex nature including group audit and assurance engagements comprising Planning, Execution, Conclusion and Reporting. My set of responsibilities included but not limited to the following:
1) Developing audit approach, devising & revising risk assessments, forming & managing audit teams, managing time and budgeting of the respective audit engagements;
2) Executing the field work independently, leading, supervising and reviewing the team work and getting the same reviewed by the engagement manager and engagement partner;
3) Corresponding with/ acting as a liaison to client in order to timely resolve the audit issues arising on field work;
4) Preparing audit deliverables including IFRS compliant, both group and stand-alone, financial statements;
5) Through-out the audit field work, ensuring the audit work is in compliance with EY Global Audit Methodology;
6) Performing and managing annual stock counts and cash counts; &
7) Forging relationship with the clients and Identifying areas requiring improvement in the client\'s
business processes and possible recommendations.
