Develop strategies/methods and implement activities for climate change adaptation and disaster risk management projects.
Develop project proposals 
Align project activities with the CBDRM model, GLOF hazard-oriented strategies, and allocated timeframe and budget.
Develop the CBDRM strategy and link it to the location and Pakistan-wide strategy.
Provide strategic direction and overall supervision for successful project implementation.
Create work plans and manage the project budget based on the defined outputs and results.
Monitor project progress regularly and take corrective actions when needed.
Prepare timely and accurate program reports that meet SIF requirements.
Cultivate strategic relationships with local authorities and stakeholders.
Facilitate HQ visits to project sites when necessary.
Work with support teams to ensure proper administrative practices, compliance with donor regulations, and effective communication.
Travel frequently to project sites and offer technical support to the team.
Review and improve planning, management, and delivery of project services.
Implement monitoring systems and record-keeping methods to support country-level reporting.
Analyze program databases and report on key indicators; suggest improved methodologies as needed.
Propose and conduct capacity-building activities for local staff in CBDRM & CCA activities.
Lead in conducting Multi-Hazard Risk Assessments (MHVRA) in collaboration with other sectors for shaping new project proposals.
Represent SIF at DRR Forums and other related working groups and coordination meetings.
Plan safe delivery and distribution to beneficiaries, adhering to SOPs and safety measures; train staff accordingly.
Conduct regular monitoring field visits to SIF-targeted project areas.
Provide orientations on projects to staff members internally and externally as needed.
Submit weekly/monthly progress reports
Collaborate with Finance/Admin and Logistics to ensure timely availability of project supplies and resources.
Offer support and guidance to other SIF staff in their CBDRM and CCA capacity-building activities.
Regularly report to the Program Manager-KP on all activities, progress, achievements, and challenges.
Assess the risk and needs of populations affected by the GLOF.
Stay updated with regional and country-specific response plans by active donors in Disaster Risk Management and Climate Change thematic area and other key actors.
Provide technical input, writing, and budgetary input for new program design; assist in writing proposals.
Engage with other donors regarding CBDRM & CCA programs.
Share methods, approaches, and tools with SIF colleagues across the region for programmatic coherence, innovation, and responsiveness.

Main responsibilities
Ø  Develop Disaster Risk Management Plan for the GLOF-affected valleys. 
Ø  Develop project proposals for climate change, disaster management, and environmental-related grants.
Ø  Identify current and emerging risk, their underlying causes, and actions that could help reduce the impacts of future GLOF and flash floods. 
Ø  Assess existing data and plans and liaise with humanitarian, development, and climate partners.
Ø  Identify the opportunities and challenges to support vulnerable communities to build community resilience.
Ø  Prepare guidelines related to the management of DRR & Climate Action. 
Ø  Coordinate implementing Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change activities with other organizations. 
Ø  Propose and prepare a community mobilization plan by engaging local decision-makers and civil society organizations to ensure their involvement in all phases of DRR planning.
Ø  Support the Implementation of Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Strategies in the northern regions.
Ø  Support the development of a long-term program way forward based on the Disaster Risk management experience and Plan of Action.

Main responsibilities
Ø  Conduct Training Need Analysis (TNA) for training programs and coordinate with the program manager to develop comprehensive training programs.
Ø  Conduct training of CBDRM, SBDRM, First Aid, Rope management, Water rescue management, ICS, EOC, INSARAG, Firefighting and Avalanche search and rescue.
Ø  Design and deliver trainings, workshops and seminars, update/enrich curriculum, prepare lesson plan and teaching aids, for trainings.
Ø  Liaise with key stakeholders particularly the local community for a greater achievement of organizational goals and objectives and coordinate with local institutions through proper communication.
Ø  Assist Regional Program Officer in arranging meetings with community and other project related activities at regional level.
Ø  Coordinate with other implementing partners particularly government line departments and share reflections regarding project activities in the region.
Ø  Develop Disaster Risk Management Plan.
Ø  Write periodical reports/ documents and disseminate to line supervisors.

Main responsibilities 
Ø  Assist in formation of Community Structure (i.e. CERT/VERT) at village and UC Level.
Ø  Assist in household assessment, nominations for various trainings to be held under the project.
Ø  To design, plan and conduct the training workshop of Village Emergency Response Team (VERT) at village level
Ø  To design, plan and conduct the training workshop of School Emergency Response Team (SERT) at School level and Community Based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM) at community level.
Ø  Assist in developing Disaster Management Plan.

Ø  Last year research project (Assessment of Human Carnivore conflict its causes, severity and mitigation in Chitral KPK Pakistan was carried with (CGCCDA)
Ø  Conducted a series of meeting with different stakeholders
Ø  Two focus group discussion were carried out with the local community to assess their perceptions about carnivores
Ø  Questionnaires were filled by the local community
Ø  Different carnivore’s habitats were visited to assess the severity of the conflict
Ø  Secondary data were taken from wildlife department
