To reduce diarrheal deaths of under-5 children in flood affected areas of Balochistan and Sindh.
To train Health Care Providers (HCPs) on diarrhoea management and generate demand for utilisation of Zinc and LOORS
To distribute 118,000 doses of Zinc and 354,000 Low-Osmolarity Oral Rehydration Salts (LO-ORS) to CU5 through Health facilities to prevent and manage diarrhea.
Training of health facilities staff at the district level on diarrhea management.
Overall, 150 health staff in Balochistan and Sindh will be trained during six one-day training sessions with 25 participants each. (75 health staff to be trained in Sindh).
Procure and Distribute 118,000 doses of Zinc and 354,000 Low-Osmolarity Oral Rehydration Salts (LO-ORS) to CU5 to prevent and manage diarrhea: (59,000 doses for Sindh).
Zinc and LOORS will be distributed to target health facilities – those which were not totally damaged by the monsoon - and in medical camps.
The distribution will take place in coordination with Provincial and District Health Departments.
Printing and Distribution of leaflets to the children’s caregivers to prevent diarrhea.

Conduct Community awareness sessions (at least 3 sessions per district) on community-based prevention and response to GBV and SEAH.
