Access patients physical, mental conditions, by taking a short history of complaints, signs and symptoms by examining the patients physically, mentally. Also, any previous history, drug history, family history, any pathological laboratory tests reports, if available or make available as soon as possible. To advice for any pathological laboratory medical tests for evaluation and reach on diagnosis patient currently suffering with. Admit the patient in the medical centre, if required with appropriate consent of the patient and attendants accompanied with the patient. .Treatment of the patients with treatment plan, discharge patient from ward on recovery, with follow up instructions To refer the patients to senior consultants (if appropriate). Prescription of appropriate medications by consulting patients if any allergies to any medicines.

My duties included in this job were to do a pre-operative round of surgical cases in wards a day before which they are due to arrive in Operation Theatre for their surgery. Take history from anesthetic point of view, find out about laboratory reports, family history, past history about any surgery, complications, medicines used, currently if patient is taking any medication for any disease such as Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus, T.B, Asthma or any other. Advice patient and relatives any precautions to follow. Observing fasting pre-operation and if fasting precautions are not applied (postpone of anesthesia and surgery, aspiration pneumonia if not fasting and not declared if anesthesia gives) not applied. Inform and discuss all case histories with seniors. Give General, Epidural, Spinal or block anesthesia according to case to case basis, initially with supervision of seniors but then was able to anaesthetize independently and on call. Follow up in the ICU, then in surgical ward to assess for any post operative complications and to manage them appropriately from anesthesia point of view under supervision of seniors.
