Plans and prepares production schedules for manufacture of products as per purchase order and invoice.
Ensure line balancing and line loading as per production plan. Draw up master plan to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to customer orders.
Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to established manufacturing sequences and define lead time. Coordinate and follow up with all departments for effective implementation of production plan.
Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, inspection, and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production supervisors.
Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects.
Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
Verify and ensure weekly stock report and place requisition as per requirements.
Prepare production reports and prepare lists of required materials, tools, and equipment.
Review purchase order to obtain materials, tool, and equipment before making commitment with the customer and suggest if any tool or equipment is needed.
Analyze production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations and graphical representations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
Monitor production target and ensure control assembly time.
Deal with product related issues as and when required and raise flag immediately to all concerned and inform management.
Ensure senior supervisor, supervisors, assistant supervisors and group leaders as well as assembler are fully aware of their responsibilities quality management system and method of production.
Assure that the required production environment is maintained as per quality standards.
Address problem to the management regarding production and resolve the issues facing by production supervisors.
Ensure that all records are maintained and update timely and regularly.
