DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
 
·       Support in development of  MEAL and  IM strategy in line with programme strategy
·       Provide technical backstopping to all MEAL and IM field teams
·       Capacity building of the MEAL and IM teams at field level
·       Support in smooth implementation of MEAL Action plan for the mission
·       Support in strengthening and implementation the Feedback and Complaint Mechanism (FCM)
·       Line manage MEAL, and IM specialists at the field level
·       Support in development and smooth implementation of information systems/database for MEAL and IM
·       Lead the process of MEAL and IM document archiving
·       Oversee engagement with external counterparts including consultants and partners for MEAL and IM at field level
SUMMARY OF ACHIEVEMENTS:
·       Planned and Managed Successful implementation Emergency Need Assessment.
·       Launch of PINSER2(Nutrition based project in 8 district of Sindh) Dashboard.
·       Managing more than 10 MEAL and IM staff at mission level.
·       Participating country strategy development process.
·       Planning and supervising MEAL&IM activities at mission level
·       Lead MEAL surveys for different projects at mission level
·       Developed mission Feedback and Complain Mechanism Strategy .
·       Capacity building of more than twenty people in MEAL&IM.

 Adapt existing in-country IM approaches for collecting, analyzing and reporting Cluster/Sub- Cluster activities and resources, and identifying information gaps.
Maintain monthly reporting from Cluster/Sub-Cluster participants, including 5Ws (‘Who does What, Where, When and for Whom?’ databases):
Support the estimation of spatial and temporal gaps, overlaps and coverage of Cluster/Sub- Cluster activities and projects:
Work with Cluster/Sub-Cluster participants to identify information gaps at national and sub-national levels and propose ways to bridge those gaps.
Work with the OCHA IM Specialist to develop appropriate supportive strategies:
Adopt and promote the use of global standards for IM for inter-operability.
Where there is both a national and a sub-national cluster, the post holder will ensure that there is effective communication, reporting, engagement and coordination between the two levels:

Developed Nutrition Information Management System (NIMS) and implemented in the field.
With strong coordination and advocacy skills managed to convince government of Sindh to adopt NIMS as standard tool for nutrition specific interventions.
Developed mission level information management strategy.
Developed archiving mechanism for program data.
Supported MEAL in various surveys planning and analysis
SMART survey data management.
Supervise more than 15 projects data management activities in a year and half.

• Introduced MOBILE data collection in the organization.
• Successfully orient more than 20 data entry persons on tools
