I have completed my M. Phil degree in Horticulture from NWFP Agriculture University Peshawar in 2002 and then started working in development sector.
Currently I am working as Environment Specialist in KP Human Capital Investment Project funded by World Bank. Previously, I worked in the capacity of Provincial Program Manger in Food Fortification Program funded by FCDO. Before that I have concluded an assignment as an Individual Consultant/Program Manager in UNDP in MAPS for SDGs Project Peshawar. Before this, I served in the capacity of District Program Manager in DFID-UK supported School Construction and Rehabilitation Program, KPK. I offered my services as Provincial Field Program Manager, Education in CESSD project by Cowater Int, AusAid. Previously i worked as a Training and Livelihood Officer in UNDP, RAHA Peshawar. Prior to this I worked as constituency coordinator in FAFEN (Free and Fair Election Network) funded by The Asia Foundation (TAF).I also offered my services as Project Officer in Environmental Protection Society (EPS) in collaboration with FAO/USAID www.eps-swat.org, in Malakand. Prior to this I served Malakand Rural Development Project as a Senior Social Organizer, a consortium of well reputed organizations including Society For Human Natural Resource Development (LASOONA)www.lasoona.org and Environmental Protection Society (EPS) www.eps-swat.org. I also served Bint-e Malalkand - www.bintemalakand.org, as Enterprise Coordinator in Dist Malakand.
I have a demonstrated experience in the areas like good governance, human rights, natural resource management, disaster management, education and health. I acquired skills in advocacy, lobbying, capacity building and project planning and management. I have been developing project concept notes and project proposals. I remained actively involved in planning, management and monitoring evaluation throughout my professional career. During my career, I also took initiatives for the promotion of peace, security interfaith harmony.
I have good knowledge and sound understanding of development planning management and have obtained practical experience in this regard while working with national and international development partners, local NGOs.
I also participated in a number of related knowledge building and skill developing training workshops and seminars. In a volunteer capacity I am attached to EEFAWDP (Education Environment Food and Water Development Program) and International Relations Old Students Association (IROSA) Www.upesh.edu.pk University of Peshawar that works for the promotion of regional peace and stability.

Programme Delivery
o Responsible for the OVERALL delivery of the Programme in his/her respective Districts. The DM must ensure that all school level tasks are completed on a timely basis (meeting the construction schedule, invoice processing, scope and budgetary requirements etc.) through the effective management of the SST. In order to do this effectively the DM needs to demonstrate that he/she is in constant communication (in writing and via telephone) with Provincial Managers (Community Development, Infrastructure, M&E etc.) and the Provincial Director for any support required ensuring the timely delivery of the Programme.
o Approve the bi-Weekly School Visit Schedules for the DEs’, CDCs’ & SDE.
o Recommending the Contract Variation Orders, following consultation with stakeholders relevant to the specific VO.
o Perform any other task assigned by supervisor.
Internal and External Coordination/Correspondence
o Regular Liaison with the District Government Officials to discuss progress and all issues needing resolution e.g. demolition, suggested scope of work changes by PTC/SCs etc.
o Conduct a Weekly Meeting w/ the SST, with minutes circulated to the PD & Provincial Managers within 2 working days.
o Participate in a MANDATORY weekly conference call with the Provincial Director & Managers.
o Attend the bi-weekly Contractor Meeting, as requested by the SDE.
o Effectively communicate and report ANY and ALL issues that cannot be solved at the District Level, to the province or to CPMU, as and when support is required. Failing to notify and/or seek resolution of outstanding issues will not be acceptable. It is important that DM (in coordination w/ the SDE) should regularly follow up on the escalated issues with the concerned people in the province and/or CPMU (in person, in writing or by telephone).

Duties and Responsibilities:
Throughout the four project education districts, with emphasis on the girl\'s school portion of the program.

o Ensure achievement of Project results in outputs and outcomes, and through supervision and support, ensure that overall targets and girls\' school PTC targets in particular are fully met for each project education district in a time-bound, effective manner.
o Work in close collaboration with the Provincial Education Program Manager, Field Education Program Manager (Male) and district staff for the purpose of achieving project results, particularly in improved education services delivery.
o Provide support and supervise all sector District and Assistant District Program Officers (DPOs and ADPOs) to ensure that the district offices\' operations are achieving project results in a time-bound and effective manner and that the district offices are operating in accordance with Project policy and procedures, including the gender policies, strategies and guidelines, and are fully incorporating gender mainstreaming. The incumbent will be assigned two districts to supervise directly.
o Support the implementation of the women\'s literacy program in the four education districts.
o Support the formation of Mother\'s Groups in all four education districts.
o Assist in the preparation, implementation, and reporting on the monthly, semi-annual, and annual sectoral and district work plans and progress to carry out the Project work plans for the respective time period, in coordination with the other Project staff.
