Summary of Professional Experience
Management with special focus on agriculture sector: Rural economy is based on the agriculture. I have good command to use participatory methods of research to bring improvement in the agricultural production and identify new potentials for the livelihood improvement of the communities. My expertise includes; focus group discussion, product identification and market development, supply and demand analysis, price analysis, situational analysis and diagnostic studies.
Marketing and Market Development: To better utilize the available resources for the livelihood improvement of the communities, it is necessary to create income generation activities at community level. I have comprehensive experience in the market promotion, strengthening and promotion of farming development services, formation and capacitating farmer clusters, liaison development with government, non-government and private sector organization.
Monitoring and Evaluation: As Monitoring & Evaluation is one the prior requisite to utilize the available inputs (resource) to get the desired outcome. During my profession time I have experience to monitor different activities at both field and office level. I have good command to use my capabilities to supervise & monitor field activities and bring a remarkable change while getting targets. My expertise include; field visits (both schedule &surprise), focus group meetings, staff meetings, review meetings, situational analysis, diagnostic and case studies (reporting) in addition with report compilation.
Social Mobilization /community association formation: Social mobilization provides the foundation for any developmental activity. My expertise in this sector includes community meetings, farmer field days and formation of community based business organization, clusters and networking among their interest groups.
