Supervising and Managing the Execution of Projects
● Monitor the field works & sub-contractors work, to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, specifications and codes
● Supervise all the post award participants on the project – be it consultants or subcontractors / vendors and to ensure their activities are in accordance with the approved drawings, contract specifications, method statements, quality and schedule.
● Supervise the installation and the construction tasks, start up and commissioning in coordination with the consultants/suppliers as per the agreed schedule
● Arrange meetings between the consultant and the suppliers and the concerned departments to solicit feedback and the proposals on the progress of the project.
● Ensure that all required inspections and tests are carried out and all permits are available for works and all safety measures are taken during the job execution
● Review and comment on deliverables and interim payment certificates prepared by project team before passing to Project Manager .

Planning the Projects ● Prepare and update the project schedule with timelines and tasks to be completed ● Assist the project Manager to research vendors/suppliers’ capabilities; identify a pool of candidate vendor/suppliers for the project consideration. ● Assist the Project Manager and Liaise with the consultant in the process of concept/preliminary design phase, detailed design phase and tender documentation phase till the final submission of each stage. Coordinate with the consultants and review designs to ensure conformity to project specifications. ● Coordinate the liaison with relevant Statutory Authorities and Utility Providers (DEWA, Municipality, Civil Defense, EHS, Etisalat, RTA, and Sewerage Etc.) ● Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures. Responsibilities include: ● Independently handling all aspects of all the projects including AJMAN municipality inspections and approvals, consultants and clients coordination’s. ● Planning and implementing time/cost schedules, ensuring compliance of the project schedule as per the baseline. ● Arranging and supervising sub contractors through various phases of the projects. ● Responsible for materials approvals and their compliance to contract specifications. ● Monitoring and supervising of tendering, estimation, billing, variations and payments. ● Responsible for coordinating and conducting meetings with sub contractors , clients and consultants to finalize shop drawings and all aspects of the project ● Incorporating cost saving methodology at every stage. ● Supervising preparation of bar bending schedules and ensuring their adherence as per Municipality regulations. ● Training newly recruited site engineers, supervisors and estimators.
