National Nutrition Survey (NNS 2018) is the largest national nutrition survey carried out on the nutritional status of women and children, food security and household water quality in Pakistan under a joint collaboration between the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination, the Aga Khan University and UNICEF. I was assigned the following duties.
• Travels to field sites to collect and record data
• Arranges and conducts field interviews as appropriate to the study, and records research data in accordance with specified protocol and procedures
• Conducts and records face-to-face interviews with subjects, data collection procedures, and documentation standards
• Reviews and edits data to ensure completeness and accuracy of information; follows up with subjects to resolve problems or clarify data collected
• May set up, calibrate, and maintain field research equipment, as specified by the requirements of the study
• Provide ready access to all experimental data for the faculty researcher and supervisor
• Manage and respond to project related email
• Assisting with the performance development scheme process; ensuring documentation is returned and logged in line with the procedural timelines and reports produced, working with the other members of the people services team as necessary.
• Developing and maintaining accurate and easily accessible records and processes for all learning and development activities and processes including recording and monitoring attendance, ensuring that staff required attending specific workshops are easily identified and followed up.
• Liaising with line managers and delegates to ensure all staff is booked on required events within agreed timeframes.
• Working closely with the learning and development partner to design and communicate administrative procedures for the booking of both in-house and external training courses.
• Ensuring evaluation forms are completed and returned for each development event; contributing to the identification of learning and development needs within the organization through the completion of training needs analysis via performance management scheme returns and feedback from managers and other staff.
• Advising staff on training policies and procedures including resolving or supporting the resolution of problems related to the operation of the learning and organization development area.
• Managing our annual mandatory training calendar ensuring full completion within targeted timescales and providing timely and accurate updates to people services partners and senior leaders
• Developing and maintain productive working relationships with external providers of learning solutions.
• Responsibility for monitoring and evaluating learning and organization development activities, producing accurate and up-to-date data analysis.
• Assisting with periodic reporting as requested such as; creating and maintaining training activity records, updating training records and ensuring information is accurate and up-to-date
Field activities of Social Economic Survey (Social/ Household Integrated Economic Survey) the key dimensions of the survey were Education, Demographic Indicators, Health, ICT, Water and Sanitation, Housing, Income, Consumption and Food Insecurity Expenditure Scale (FIES). it was comprehensive district level survey .I performed collecting and processing field data for the fulfillment of the survey output and logistical operation. I assisted the principal investigator with the administration and management of finances, including accounting for the program budget allocations. The major responsibility as research assistant was to prepare and present technical reports to the principal investigator and research operations managers on a regular basis. I presented quarterly progress updates of the research operations and activities of researchers and findings.
