1. Maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives, monitoring key competitors initiatives to formulate strategy for upcoming collections as well as pricing, positioning and segmentation.

2. Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets, forecasts and production and Go-to-market (GTM) timelines with all key stakeholders such as design, production, procurement and operations teams.

3. Leading a team of retail planning analysts, market researchers to identify ready-to-wear (RTW) luxury apparel market trends and build/refine a design-level plan based on current forecast, historic trend and retail strategies & opportunities

4. Provide leadership, insight and results for any meeting presenting or discussing the financial strategy, pre-season plan or forecast as indicated by the business calendar

5. Maintain excellent relationships and negotiate with external fabrics pre-treatment vendors and outsourcing partners such as Sapphire Textile Mills (for Elan Vital segment) to expedite the production process and resolve potential bottlenecks in the supply chain.

6. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and experience.

7. Complete ownership of retail store administration, including retail expansion planning leading to launch of stores in other cities and drive compliance with company policies and procedures

8. Regular visits of the sales floor, interacting with sales staff and customers and identifying or resolving urgent issues

9. Organizing special promotions, displays and events catering to different occasions and festivals leading to increased store traffic and footfall

10. Engaging Visual and Product merchandising teams to maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards

11. Regular liaison with international fashion retail stores to promote the brand and gain customers in the foreign markets.
