Have been working as freelance developer for most of my career. I prefer working from the comfort of my home. However can adjust myself in any environment and have worked regular office jobs time and again.
Have developed my professional skills through years of hard work and practice. Formal education has little to do with it. Started off programming with Microsoft Visual Basic 6, needless to say it's obsolete now and rarely used but taught me a lot about coding and got me on the road to programming. In 2008 started learning Php as I realized web is the future. Have done several projects in it ever since. It's my server-side programming language of choice. Willing to learn and work in NodeJs platform if time demands. On client-side I prefer to use AngularJS framework which I started to learn in 2014. I have used MySql and MongoDB in my projects and am mostly comfortable in working with those databases.
Due to increasing demand for responsive design I started learning and using Bootstrap framework in my projects. I have provided demo links to two of my best projects which I have developed recently using the technologies mentioned above.
Recently I got excited to explore the power of frameworks as far as serverside programming goes. Was at the crossroads with either Ruby-on-Rails or Laravel. Decided to go for Laravel because of it's power, ease to learn and my php background. Currently doing a project in it which will be complete soon.
Have the motivation to learn new technologies and explore new horizons. Love to take challenges, grow and lead the way.
