Main Responsibilities:
• Initiates sales process by prospecting, scheduling appointments, making initial presentation, understanding business needs, developing proposals, closing sales.
• Respond efficiently to enquiries with appropriate information about Makkays products and services.
• Contact potential clients to quantify their requirements and budgets and demonstrate how Makkays products can meet or exceed these needs.
• Prepare proposals and quotations for provision of Makkays products or services for potential clients, in liaison with the PMD.
• Arrange & send earnest money, tender fees well in time, and ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of quotations and proposals.
• Regular follow-up on proposals and quotations submitted with concerned prospects/clients.
• Be vigilant on competition moves and offers. Work as eyes and ears of the company prompt reporting on regular basis.
• Have a quarterly LOS meeting for each customer with PMD & Technical and submit an action plan to senior managers.
• Establish & maintain a PMIR for each customer.
• Expands sales with existing customer by introducing additional solutions and services; developing new applications etc.
• Ensure timely submission of CPO to commercial department, and follow-up with for timely delivery of products/services and execution of projects.
• Ensure regular meetings/visit to customers and send follow-up e-mail/letters after every meeting/visit.
• Maintain accurate up-to-date sales pipeline and forecasts.
• Contributes information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from customers.
• Set & meet monthly/annual targets.
• Work with customers to ensure timely payments against invoices.
