Utilize sales data to manage, develop, and serve existing accounts. Finding ways to identify and
convert new account opportunities for the business. Oversee staff training, the hiring and firing of
employees, and evaluating personnel. Finding ways to improve and develop profitable sales numbers by analyzing performances for all
relevant accounts and monitoring competitor activities and market trends to find new opportunities. Attending important events and trade shows. Implement, and execute merchandising plans that help
the business to grow and meet sales targets. Regularly meeting with clients to manage the important pathway between the agreements of the sale
to the final delivery. Producing reports and presenting them to the owners. Forecasts through analyzing sales and data.

. Proactively assist customers within the guidelines outlined in the Customer Service Standards, and
ensuring that the staff are doing the same. Assist Section Manager in department development and succession training. Supervise staff members, delegate tasks and constructively address performance issues. Prepare a daily list of tasks, ensuring completion in a timely manner. Ensure all products meet quality standards through proper rotation and by only selling fresh
product. Assist Section Manager with display changes and ensures proper Department signage. Maintain inventory control as directed by Section Manager and monitor shrink. Communicate any suggestions, concerns, questions, and customer feedback to the Grocery
Manager in a timely manner.

. Record which goods need replacing, in writing or by using an HHT. Load up a trolley or cage from the warehouse or stockroom with goods for the retail selling area. Stack the shelves and display areas neatly. Make sure that goods are rotated, with the earliest sell-by dates at the front. Pull stock forward to the front of the shelves. Stick reduced price tickets on goods with short sell-by dates. Remove from the shelves goods that are past their sell-by date. Keep the shelves and display areas clean and tidy.
