• District Engineer will be responsible to oversee the development of BOQs, estimates and designs of the renovation work as well as monitoring of the progress of work during the period.
• Technical review of the assessments of required renovation and repair work in the health facilities of all project districts.
• Analyze and verify the estimated quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor (BOQs) developed by the sub-awardees’ engineers.
• Analysis of sketches/designs/plans of the renovation and repair work developed by the sub-awardees’ engineers or modified by vendors.
• Provide technical advice to sub-awardees’ engineers regarding repair / renovation of health facilities
• Monitoring of the renovation and repair work being done by the contractor/vendor and Inspect renovation sites (health facilities) to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and standards; and provide technical advice to relevant engineer.
• Facility wise reports on completion of renovation work
• Inspection reports on monitoring of the progress of work
• Facility wise designs of the repair / renovation along with BOQs.
• Technically support field Engineers in the district(s) in identification, assessment, implementation & monitoring of Cash for Work schemes
• Development of the emergency and rehabilitation Cash for Work program in field level.
• Verify and approve BOQs and IPRs for the civil works
• Will be responsible for spending of the CFW budget which is neither overspent nor under spent.
• Facilitation of the FSL team in identification of appropriate and feasible community schemes with a major focus on WASH.
• Will assure quality reconstruction and repair.
• Will be responsible for all FSL supported schemes in the district(s) assigned.
• Assist the FSL Specialist and other program team in Islamabad in reporting, case studies, human interest stories, pictures, and other related things like development and implementation of the emergency and rehabilitation program
• Any other task assigned by the supervisor.
