Major Activities and Responsibilities
Promote the resilience and empowerment of the targeted community members by ensuring their active participation in all stages of the interventions;
Be knowledgeable of the services provided in the area of intervention by both INGOs, community-based local organizations or institutions, and contribute to updating the service mapping in coordination with referrals officers.
Provide information on the services available to refugees, migrants, and vulnerable host communities.Propose and support community-based, in coordination with community volunteers, other teams, and partners, aiming to raise awareness on protection and MHPSS topics.

Participate in sensitization activities at the community level, in coordination with community volunteers and the Health team, on protection issues but also on other potential epidemic-related precautions measures if requested by health team.

Work closely with polio teams / frontline workers and House to House mobilizers to track and engage with the families for maximum coverage of missed children
Participate in Morning Assembly and Evening meetings at health facilities during campaign days Provide supportive supervision to teams for IPC skills
Engage local community and religious influencers to assist in coverage of refusals reported during campaign days.Keep record of and update the social profile (institutions/ schools and Madrassa) networks and community-based entry points / stakeholders influencers etc
Identify refusal families and verify them by type and include this information in the social mobilization plan area wise mapping and planning for refusals
Coordinate IPC door to door visits (families with refusals, persistently missed children) and community groups meetings to address misconceptions, providing answers to FAQs, raising awareness (Polio, RI, Zero dose etc).Display and distribution of the IEC Material in the assigned area.
