Assessing business and audit risks, co-ordinating with professionals of various fields like legal, actuarial and IT experts and decision making for resolution of critical reportable matters
Leading and executing the audits of clients including listed and private companies including group audits.
Highlighting audit issues and assisting in resolving those issues Reviewing and auditing financial information according to IFRS and ISAs
Supervising and leading teams, contributing to the professional development of junior team members by reviewing their work and evaluating their performance by providing performance feedbacks Communicating and coordinating with the clients for effective and efficient execution of audit assignments and ensuring delivery of audit within the agreed timelines Assisting the clients to comply with requirements of IFRS and suggesting solutions in the face of obstacles and complexity, supporting the clients in meeting their regulatory and contractual requirements and advising and recommending clients on the best practices in finance and operations
Communicating and coordinating with the IRM teams and assisting them with the test of ITGCs and application controls Review of accounting and internal control systems and suggesting procedure for their improvements
Assisting clients in preparation of Financial Statements in accordance with the financial reporting framework applicable in Pakistan which includes compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), local corporate laws and directives of regulatory bodies.
