As a manager I have different business segments sale targets which has to achieved, like MDS (McDonalds Delivery Service), Drive Thru.
These sales targets by Business Manager and Operation Consultant which are designed accordance with company sales targets
As a business manager I visit my competitors and conduct SWOT analysis, share my findings with all the support departments & my all team members on the same time for the betterment of business.
I used to analysis business trading area just to have close eye on business growth.
We at McDonalds have different joint promotions with renowned brands just to boost business with existing and new guests that has be carryout with other business initiatives parallel.

Profitability
As it is a penny profit business There are too many challenges to achieve profitability, like control day to day wastages, control variances, employee meals, promo.
I have to control all the major expenses on equipment, travelling etc. as these have dominating impact on profit.

While leading a business I have to plan differently to achieve different business segments, like MDS I have to analysis the trading area, customers profile, have to suggest deals to marketing department, time to time check performance, calling guest after sales.
Business segments like Drive Thru, I have to optimize the speed of service, every seconds matters, each and every guest matter and make sure to suggest products that are helpful in achieving profitable sales.

Inventory Management
As a Business manager I have to deal 350+ plus Food, Paper, Chemicals products which have be managed according to sales volume, maintaining FIFO, managing new product ordering & at the same maintaining variances.
