Security Equipment Operation

Same as my current responsibilities of Security Adviser in the Embassy of Switzerland. The title before was Security Risk Management Adviser which was changed to Security Adviser due to integration of both parts of the embassy.

TORs mainly remained the same except that during my tenure as Risk Management Analyst, I was assisting an expat (also among my references). After his end of mission, I was made independently responsible for the position of Security Risk Management Adviser.

o To ensure security and access of the ICRC, dialogue and maintaining contacts with Government (civilian, intelligence, security & law enforcement authorities), humanitarian & development sector, influential actors (e.g, religious & social).
o Analysis and advice on security, socio-economic, cultural, political and general situation relevant to the ICRC.
o Disseminations sessions and presentations on the ICRC, its mandate, activities and the IHL.
o Representations during IHL dissemination seminars, workshops, roundtables and meetings sessions for government authorities (civilian, security & law enforcement) and nongovernmental actors (journalists, universities, religious leaders).
o Drafting proposals and plans of action pertaining to the objectives of the ICRC and suggest ways to develop strategy and activities. Contributing to the annual and quarterly strategy planning and analysis.
