Support in conducting annual and mid-term program reviews, participatory impact assessments, process monitoring, operations monitoring, integrating accountability principles, and lessons-learned workshops.
  Designing project specific MEAL frameworks which integrate all the MEAL related activities and information gathering mechanisms.
  Providing quality input to programme in steering the process for designing the appropriate reporting formats for monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports
  Guiding the process for identifying the key performance questions and parameters for monitoring project performance and comparing it to targets.
  Clarifying the core information needs of the MEAL unit and country program, funding agencies and other key stakeholders.
  Setting out the framework and procedures for the evaluation of project activities in consultation with program/project stakeholders.
  Conducting baselines, paper learning , end line area-specific contexts, and assessments by designing appropriate methods of collecting, updating and reviewing the data.
  Undertaking periodic monitoring visits to take stock of how the MEAL framework is being practiced and suggest critical recommendations for improvement and course correction.
 
  Ensuring follow-up mechanism is in place with respect to key recommendations, observations, and findings coming from MEAL staff, thematic leads, and reviews.
  Designing project-specific templates and ensuring timely report of MEAL activities from the field.
  Data management and archiving to produce analytical reports as and when required.
  Develop multiple reports according to the donor requirments.
  Steering the process for designing the appropriate reporting formats for monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports.
  Design appropriate formats for Project performance reports, analytical reports and qualitative reports.
  Designing TORs for baselines, evaluations, impact studies or assessments.
  Conduct project inception work and develop TORs for inception workshop.
  Develop and consolidate project business process, submit monthly project tracker, monthly, quarterly and annual reports etc to AO Peshawar & Country office.

  Integrating Accountability Mechanism in accordance with MEAL framework and standard humanitarian standards by implementing complaints handling mechanism at field level.
  Conduct regular field visits with 70% time in field and 30% for reporting.
  Submission on basis weekly basis & monthly consolidated reports to DC/SPO/PC & MEAL department at AO Peshawar to timely on track project activities with valid & fruitful suggestions.

·   Responsible for communicating M&E results to the people who need to use it such as Project management, Program head at Head office, MEAL department, beneficiaries, and line department and with donor agency.
·   To provide positive feed-back to field staff and provide on job support.
·   To collect the required data from field on regular basis and generate reports as & when required.
·   To ensure that all activities are taking place according to the agreed plan.
·   He will be responsible to assist the PC in achieving the targets in time.
·   Monitoring officer will report to the MEAL Manager at head office level.

·   Ensure effective management and maintenance of databases developed for the project.

FUNCTIONS
To assist the AMEU Supervisor in the development and implementation of Appraisal, Monitoring and Evaluation strategies by collecting and processing quantitative and qualitative data on programs and general pre-project data, including:
A. Development of data collection tools and methodologies: Work closely with the AMEU Supervisor to design appropriate information collection tools and methodologies including the assessment ToRs, questionnaires and other templates, such as the debrief form.

B. Data Collection:
• To collect data and information in the field through interviews of beneficiaries, focus group discussions, field visits and surveys, in line with instructions from the AMEU Supervisor;
• To ensure transparent, accurate and timely collection of quantitative and qualitative data and information;
• To ensure a regular, effective and comprehensive transmission of information within the all AMEU/Database team;
• To cross-check information accuracy with the database entry.

C. Reporting:
• Providing regular reports to the AMEU Supervisor at frequent intervals on the progress of the implementation of the assessment activities and on the AMEU Monitors observations during the mission;
• Working closely with the Database to provide accurate data and where necessary assist in data entering.

 Develop and manage a Water Quality sampling schedule, at community level
 Water Quality analysis of basic physic-chemical and bacteriological parameters
 Environmental protections measures for Boreholes, wells and drinking water treatment in term of disinfection and household level treatment.
 Mobilizes the community in the effective use of the community resources for safe and clean drinking water and hygiene promotion.
 Sustainable systems for longer-term operation and maintenance of all water supplies and sanitation facilities
 To participate in the identification, planning and establishment of WASH needs in particular the design and construct appropriate systems to meet people\'s basic public health needs, including water supply for drinking, washing; sanitation; drainage; and solid waste disposal, Vector control.
 Carry out biological and chemical analysis of water samples and flagging risks
Supervise all the Water Purification, chlorination and water treatment activities
