Job Responsibilities
Develop an in- depth understanding of project documents (Project Proposal ) as well as business/DIP for planning & implementation of hygiene promotion activities.
Initial contacts and programme introduction of the project in the target community.
Conduct broad- based community meetings (BBCM)/ stakeholders workshops at the community level.
Conduct needs assessment/baseline/KAP surveys for data collection in the defined project areas.
Arrange and conduct health and hygiene promotion sessions specially focused on proper hand washing, safe excreta disposal, safe household water management and proper usage of latrine.
Encourage community involvement and participation in health and hygiene promotion through social mobilization as well as campaigning (Solid waste management, Hand Washing Day,  Clean water, vector control,food hygiene) etc.
Capacity building of communities on dealing with health and hygiene related diseases ( Skin, Water borne, Malaria, Dengue & Communicable diseases) by using local resources.
Capacity building of IR - field -based staff regarding updated health and hygiene education.
Responsible for designing hygiene sessions and IEC material as well as the development of manual and training modules .

Job Responsibilities
Implementation of project activities as per project document.
Social Mobilization, Baseline Surveys, and Need assessment.
Village/ Community Profiling.
Maintenance of daily water tracking record
Camp Management and monitoring of project activities in defined project areas.
Conduct health and hygiene sessions at camp/ villages and also distributed IEC material to participants.
Child protection sessions among children at TLC ( Temporary Learning Center).
Conduct Assessment and site identification for distribution of Hygiene kit, MHM kit to flood affected communities.
Regular follow up and monitoring of WASH activities at camp.
Facilitate in arrangement of Donor visit to project areas.
Prepare weekly, monthly work plans and reports.
