1.       Process Monitoring:
With sole purpose to track the use of inputs and resources, along with examining how activities and outputs are delivered of the various departments and directorates of PHC, how are efficient, effective, sustainable, and in line with PHC’s strategic business plan (SBP). The following were the main assignments to ensure in-house monitoring: -

Monitored Inspection process of field inspection teams on 20 (twenty) randomly selected indicators.
Compiled and developed information/data of assigned departments for the analysis and reporting to management
Developed Anti Quackery Hearing checklist for monitoring of hearing process and reporting of deviations on weekly basis.
Developed checklist for the monitoring of Capacity building workshops (CBWs) arranged for the Healthcare Establishments (HCEs) representatives

2.       Compliance Monitoring:  
To ensure compliance of Minimum Service Delivery Standards (MSDS), regulations and laws, ethical standards, with the objectives to assist and facilitate PHC teams, directorates and departments in keeping their activities on track with identification of deviation from policies, procedures and set targets; and recommending corrective measures through the following: -
·          Lead the study of Sustainability of Minimum Service Delivery Standards (MSDS) on licensed Category-I Hospitals across the Punjab (Public & Private) to assess whether the licensed hospitals are sustaining their level of compliance with the prescribed minimum service delivery standards after qualifying and obtaining a license from PHC. (Oct –Dec 2020)

Monitored various Departments and Directorates of PHC as per Annual Operational Plans
Developed monitoring frameworks documenting targets met delays, reasons for delays, and recommendations for further action. (monthly, weekly, annually)
Monitored qualified HCEs after 6-8 weeks of qualification for the regular licensing of PHC – conducted monitoring on 42 (forty-two) randomly selected indicators for the assessment of sustainability
Conducted and reported census data validation of HCEs in 14 Districts and 42 Tehsils of Punjab

3.       Contextual & Beneficiary Monitoring & Special Assignments: -To identify and measure risks, assumptions, or any unexpected situations and to tracks stakeholder complaints and feedback mechanism accomplished the following tasks: -
·         Monitored complaint department through complaint management sheet of case workers to monitor the Grievance Redressal process.
·         Lead the Anti Quackery Campaign across the Punjab (2018)
·         Conducted special inspections of HCEs in Lahore focusing on hospital waste management. (January, February 2018)
·         Monitored visits to check the sustainability of MSDS (Minimum Service Delivery Standards) to Qualified Matab’s across the Punjab province. (March & July 2018)
·         Monitored 89 Qualified Basic Health Units (BHUs) across the Punjab province to check the sustainability and implementation on MSDS (July 2018 to June 2021)
