ü  Organize and responsible for the Identification of market oriented, commercial value chains, in close cooperation with Government of KPK line Departments and private stakeholders, in particular with input suppliers traders, buyers and end users of horticultural products.
ü  Conduct commodity value chain analyses, in close cooperation with Government of KPK line Departments and private stakeholders, in particular with input suppliers traders, buyers and end users of horticultural products.
ü  Contribute to the development of supply chain and agribusiness work plans under the supervision of the DCOP / value chain expert
ü  Hands on support / facilitation of stakeholders in the supply chain to achieve their goals and objectives, jointly formulated with the support of THAzA teams
ü  Contribute to the analysis of the marketing and input supply arrangements per supply chain and the training of participants in identifying market opportunities, linkages, impediments and bottlenecks.
ü  Identification of market opportunities and impediments for supply chain development and to develop strategies to solve bottleneck and to capture opportunities together with stakeholders.
ü  Development of agribusiness and value chain business opportunities, customized to the specific circumstances of KP and to facilitate farmers, traders and other supply chain actors to successfully market their products.

 Identification of beneficiaries for small enterprise (Assets) in target UCs.
 Development of livelihood investment plan (LIPS) with the selected household for small enterprise, aimed at their well planned and well coordinated socio/economic uplift under the PPAF funded Livelihood Enhancement and Protection (LEP) component.

 To supervise the implementation and management of Agriculture component for food security project under the direct supervision/ assistance of the project manager
 Work closely with the Food Security Project Manager for compliance with Donor requirements.
 Develop work plans and carry out regular monitoring visits to the project sites, follow up on implementation plans and provide technical assistance on timely basis.
 Work closely with the Social Mobilizer and give technical input into the M&E Framework for the project.

 Provide inputs and assistance in the agricultural related technical matters of Economic Development Packages (EDPs) design and implementation;
 Work on best management practices in protected and high value Agriculture and support provincial teams on agricultural issues ;
 Assist in the development and conduct agricultural related surveys;
 Develop and maintain key relationships with partner organizations / implementing consultants so that risks to CARD-F’s interventions can be minimized and opportunities maximized
 Develop, Organize and assist of training programs to address the identified training needs of target stakeholders and beneficiaries ;
 Identify agricultural constraints and propose project interventions that will address those constraints;
 Undertake all other duties and responsible commensurate with the role and level of this Job as may be requested by the Project Manager or one of his nominees
 Be prepared to work and travel to the project areas as per the need of the projects;
