The Aga Khan Rural Support Programme is a private, non-profit company established by the Aga Khan Foundation in 1982 to help and improve the quality of life of the villagers of Gilgit Baltistan and Chitral. The AKRSP development approach gives primacy to people and their abilities.
As an assistant finance intern, I associated with the AKRSP regional office in Gilgit Jutial and worked with the AKRSP finance section under the supervision of finance officers Ghulam Muhammad and Zafar Iqbal.
