In my role as a MEAL Officer at Muslim Aid Pakistan, I am instrumental in supporting the Program Coordinator and the MEAL department in the effective implementation of MAP MEAL guidelines across all provincial programs and projects. My key responsibilities include:
Baseline Assessments and Data Management:
Contribute to the design, conduct, and management of baseline assessments, data collection methods, and schedules for various programs and projects.
Oversee special studies and surveys aligned with project objectives and expected results for management and lessons learned.
Project Progress Tracking:
Manage Project Progress Matrices (PPMs) and other data gathering tools based on key performance indicators for all projects.
Ensure timely provision of data from projects, facilitating effective decision-making.
Field Visits and Reporting:
Conduct regular field visits to project areas, preparing and disseminating monitoring visit reports to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
Keep close track of programmatic progress, identifying and addressing gaps promptly.
MEAL Functions and Reporting:

District Monitoring Coordinator
As the District Monitoring Coordinator in the UNICEF(ESP) project, my role and responsibilities were comprehensive and instrumental in ensuring the successful implementation of various education-related initiatives. The key aspects of my role included:
Strategic Planning and Implementation:
Prepare monthly project work plans and implement them in close coordination with the District Education Officer and District Commissioner.
Lead and supervise UNICEF implementing partners in education-related activities, serving as the focal person for real-time school monitoring in the district.
Enrolment and School Mapping:
Plan and coordinate the mapping of out-of-school children, assigning targets for enrolment with support from the community, PTSMCs, and scouts.
Assign tasks to real-time monitoring associates for school visits and monitoring, ensuring a systematic approach.
Monitoring and Reporting:
Responsible for achieving results in the assigned geographical cluster area, including real-time monitoring of schools, enrolment, supply distribution, and community linkages.
Regularly follow up on real-time monitoring visits by associates, recording prescribed indicators on provided tools.
Submit daily basis reports with clear achievements regarding real-time monitoring visits.
School Improvement and Access:
Monitor assigned schools using real-time monitoring tools, identifying issues related to improved access and quality, and recommending timely actions.
