I am a medical doctor and a social activist from Pakistan with more than eight years of experience in design and implementation of sexual and reproductive health and rights programs in different countries. I have worked in various national and international organziations using ICPD and SDGs framework by applying and advocating for rights based approach towards sexual and reproductive health. My work has been focused on advocacy, research and programming for sexual and reproductive health of disadvantaged, vulnerable and marginalized communities such as women, adolescent and young people. In my past experience I have managed sexual and reproductive health programs focusing on five areas of sexual and reproductive health: reproductive and sexual rights, sexual violence, contraception, post-abortion care, maternal and new born health, counseling and treatment of STIs. I have strong experience and interest in steering up new programs, and designing new intervention using innovative approaches such as human/user centered design. I have worked on various models of behavior change communication for contraceptive uptake in adolescent and young people in the context of Pakistan, Tanzania and Burkina Faso. I use analytical approach to communicate program findings, learnings, data and impact.
I am a strong believer of inclusive and participatory approaches and working with excluded and vulnerable communities particularly young people, women, and victims of gender based violence. I have strong experience of working independently managing remote teams across Asia and Africa in different time zones

Deputy Country Director Pakistan & Deputy Project Director (Multi-country)
• Supporting management of a multi-country project (Beyond Bias) from Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation on improving contraceptive uptake in young women with a consortium of multidisciplinary expertise
• Supporting application of human centered design approach to design bias-free contraceptive services for young people and adolescents
• Supporting randomized controlled trial and market segmentation research activities on ground to better design and evaluate potential solution
• Supported design research and prototyping activities in Burkina Faso and Tanzania while conducted design research and prototyping in Pakistan independently
• Project Management:
o Responsible for project management functions such as annual work planning, coordination with partners at global level, implementation and monitoring of project activities across Pakistan, Tanzania and Burkina Faso
o Responsible for cross country communication, coordination, in-country implementation of various project activities
o Documenting results and implementation learning
o Supporting project director in management of resources to accomplish project goals such as bringing technical expertise from a pool of expertise in Pathfinder, and technical expertise from international partners YLabs, Camber Collective and BERI (UC Berkley)
o Support project director in donor coordination and improving visibility of project at various international and national conferences and events
o Responsible for donor reports, progress reports and communication at national level and participation in conferences to disseminate results
o Responsible for development and management of a national advisory board/technical committee for project in Pakistan
Supporting Pathfinder Country Program
o Support Pathfinder International in development of Policies and Costed Implementation Plans for Sindh
o Managed Adolescent counseling centers in Sindh and development of standard protocols for the province
