Work with PE for developing monitoring frame work and timeline for the project activities Provide complete support during supervision of construction and carry out quality control inspection and monitor progress
Develop standard drawings, bills of quantities and detail materials list for projects Provide basic technical training to the local communities for the sustainability of ongoing projects. Where possible develop and propose new projects

My responsibilities are


        Lead the planning and implementation of retention/detention basins\\\' construction/rehabilitation to reduce floods and conserve water in targeted areas.

-      Provide technical support to contractors and project partners during the construction activities
     Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies for the construction/rehabilitation of retention/detention basins.     Prepare technical designs, specifications, and cost estimates for construction and rehabilitation infrastructure
-          Conduct technical inspections and quality control of construction work and ensure compliance with technical specifications.
-          Ensure that infrastructure activities are carried out in accordance with environmental and social safeguard policies.
-          Prepare technical reports on the project\\\'s activities, progress, and impact.
        Participate in project monitoring and evaluation activities and provide technical input as required.
-          Regular monitoring of ongoing construction activities to ensure that all the activities are implemented as per design, specifications, work schedule and also contributing to resilience.
-          Keep close coordination with community mobilization, DRR and capacity building teams.   
-          Ensure storage and delivery of related materials, equipment, tools and consumables on work site and maintenance of proper records.
-          Prepare a work completion report of the DRR/CC schemes and submit to the supervisor for necessary verification, payment to the labor in a timely manner and compliance
-          Working in harmony with all other project staff and field team for the effective and efficient day-to-day management of the project
-          Prepare weekly, monthly work plans and progress reports
-          Any other tasks assigned by supervisor

Manage and implement the technical activities on the field
Plan construction / rehabilitation activities according to project objectives time-frame and designs.
Supervise and provide guidance and technical support to other field teams.
Support and supervise daily skilled and unskilled workers / project volunteers and give them useful instruction regarding their work improvement, through coordination with the relevant skilled staff
Providing technical guidance, training and support to individuals targeted by each project in line with the programme strategy and intended output[s];
Ensure on time completion of the tasks in line with BOQs and designs
Report to the Civil Engineer on a daily basis about progress and challenges faced
