Site Supervision According To Specifications
Understanding project requirements and completing all duties assigned by the Supervisor.
Shadowing senior staff members, asking questions, and assisting wherever possible.
Conducting research and traveling to sites
Observing health and safety regulations at all times.
Analyzing data and writing reports according to specifications.
Establishing professional relationships with staff.

In a 12-day Survey Camp that was arranged by UET-Peshawar at Jalozai Campus, we got practical experience with Theodolite, Compass, and Leveling staff, etc. With the help of these prescribed instruments, we did the following measurements.
 Road Surveying (Cross-section and profile of road)
 Contouring of Land

Responsibilities:

Providing technical support to senior staff members
Gathering data on existing conditions at construction sites, including soil conditions and land elevations etc  Performing calculations by hand or using computer software programs to estimate material requirements and other engineering specifications
Developing construction plans for building  Conducting tests to measure physical properties such as tensile strength and compressive strength of materials
