on Key positions with responsibilities like Project Management, Livelihood,
Planning, M&E, Administration, Analyst and Research in the fields of Health,
Surveys, Education, Infrastructure, Liaison, GBV, Tots, Coordination, Security,
Conflict Resolution, Mostly in Extreme violent areas and Environment.
Manage the implementation in accordance with the implementation plan and overall project goals and objectives.
Conduct trainings, awareness sessions and any other activities in the field as part of the implementation plan.
Provide technical activity inputs to the Program Team to design future activities.
Coordinating, leading and conducting rapid sectorial needs and market assessments in the field and support the identification of main market-driven activities for women.
To contribute actively on conducting baseline / endline surveys and provide inputs in reports generation.
Support data collection/ monitoring/ evaluation and participate in the roll out of new tools/ processes for livelihood activities.
Provide regular report and feedback to the Program Manager on the status and effectiveness of the activities.
Responsible for data quality and verification of all livelihoods related data at field level and appropriate storage.
Ensures liaison with the communities, maintaining links with community committees and elders, engaging consistently with beneficiaries and other relevant stakeholders.
Responsible for logistical implementation of livelihoods activities, including delivery of goods to the sites.
Coordinating and conducting field distributions activities (food items, seeds and fertilizers, shoats, cash grants and starter kits, others) in accordance to agreed criteria and guidelines.
Organize technical trainings for beneficiaries on crop and livestock production, Income-Generating Activities and Village Saving Loans Associations.
Participate in planning/ progress review meetings with local authorities, community leaders, partners, working groups, etc.
Support improvement of SIF livelihood strategy by identifying challenges, solutions, success stories and new opportunities for programming.
Participate in the preparation of budget forecast and follow-up.
Contribute to ensuring proper stock management for all equipment related to livelihood activities.
Follow the evolution of security context on the field with relevant stakeholders and report to the Program Manager.

The Assistant Livelihood Officer is accountable for fulfilling his roles and responsibilities in line with organization values and principles of fairness, humanity, honesty, respect and fair treatment of his/her colleagues and staff.
To assist Senior Project officer in development of Business process such as Detailed Implementation Plan, Procurement and Communication plan
To ensure that activities are aligned with Detailed Implementation Plan, Procurement and Communication plan.
To develop beneficiaries tracking sheet
To conduct households surveys in collaboration with Community organizations to ascertain household vulnerability and wellbeing.
To develop needs assessments report of the operational areas for livelihood interventions.
To analysed family’s choice and interest on different adaptive livelihoods options and opportunities considering physical facilities and abilities with support of MEAL.
To Identify and register climate vulnerable extreme poor individuals/households for vocational trainings and enterprise support.
To implement On-farm and Off-farm trainings and micro enterprise activities under the project plan.
To Document all progress, challenges, and learning for future implementation of the similar projects and accountability.
To conduct regular field visits to verify quality/ progress of Livelihood program interventions and provide technical guidance and advices
To establish technical and vocational skills centre in rural and urban areas.
Design training course content and tool kits for different trades with consultation of various stakeholders
Conduct market assessment for vocational trainings / tool kits and to develop market linkages
To lead all On-farm & Off Farm vocational / enterprise development activities under project.
To ensure business plans are developed of identified right holders.
To review grants packages inform of Cash or inkind for different enterprises developed by Assistant livelihood officer.
To identify resource person/institute for trainings.
Follow up of enterprises supported by the project interventions.
To develop linkages and networking with Government line departments such as Agriculture, livestock, TVET and Other technical service providers.
To assess seasonal food insecurity, seasonality of income/employment and production lean season analysed and prepared seasonal map
To design and develop sustenance allowance package for immediate food security or to cope up with lean season.
To ensure community-based Self-help groups and apex bodies comprising of selected families are formed.
To develop capacities of extension services in the target areas.
