I am a dedicated and results-driven protection and community mobilization professional with extensive experience working on UNHCR-funded projects in refugee camps, particularly in the three RVs of Loralai and Malgagai RV. With a strong background in community-based protection (CBP), social mobilization, and capacity building, I have developed a deep understanding of the complex dynamics within refugee settings. My expertise lies in facilitating communication between refugees, local authorities, and protection partners, empowering vulnerable populations, and ensuring their participation in protection activities.
Over the course of my career, I have worked to identify and address the protection needs of refugees, focusing on individuals and groups at risk and their protections, including survivors of sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV), persons with disabilities, persons with serious medical conditions, and unaccompanied minors. I have developed and managed referral systems to ensure timely and appropriate support for refugees in need of protection services. Additionally, I have led awareness campaigns that promote refugees' rights and responsibilities, ensuring access to critical services.
I am skilled in building the capacity of community structures, including Outreach Volunteers (OVs) and refugee-led committees. I have successfully organized training sessions on key protection issues such as child protection, SGBV prevention, and service access. My work has aligned with UNHCR’s protection mandate and strategies to ensure the protection framework within camps remains responsive and effective.
In addition to my work in protection, I have experience in administrative and secretarial roles, having served as a personal assistant and office secretary, where I honed my organizational, communication, and coordination skills. These roles have further strengthened my ability to manage tasks efficiently and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
I am passionate about contributing to the well-being of vulnerable populations, fostering social cohesion, and promoting peaceful coexistence between refugees and host communities. My diverse skill set and commitment to human rights and protection enable me to make meaningful contributions to any humanitarian initiative.
