Job Description:
Safely and efficiently transport Mercy Corps staff, ensuring their safety and comfort during field visits to various locations. 
Mercy Corps staff pick and drop on daily basis from base location to airport and office.
Distribtion of Cartridges from office to Xpert Sites as per distribution plan shared by supervisor
Ensure the maintain the vehicle clean on daily basis
Maintain accurate and up-to-date vehicle log sheets, recording mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities. Ensure all required vehicle documentation, such as registration and insurance, is valid and readily accessible.
Plan routes and schedules for field visits, taking into consideration traffic, road conditions, and time constraints, to ensure timely arrival at destinations.
Adhere to local traffic laws and regulations and Mercy Corps Policies, and ensure the vehicle is compliant with all relevant safety standards.
Collaborate with Mercy Corpsstaff and other drivers to ensure efficient coordination of transportation activities.
Provide Support to Mercy Corps Logsitics team whenever required

Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect, clean, and maintain the assigned vehicle to ensure it is in excellent working condition. Promptly report any maintenance or repair needs.


Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date vehicle log sheets, recording mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities. Ensure all required vehicle documentation, such as registration and insurance, is valid and readily accessible.


Route Planning: Plan routes and schedules for field visits, taking into consideration traffic, road conditions, and time constraints, to ensure timely arrival at destinations.


Security Awareness: Maintain awareness of security conditions and adhere to safety guidelines provided by the organization, especially during visits to potentially high-risk areas.


Communication: Maintain effective communication with INGO staff and organization representatives, providing updates on travel progress and any issues encountered.


Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergencies or breakdowns and follow established protocols for reporting incidents and seeking assistance.


Compliance: Adhere to local traffic laws and regulations, and ensure the vehicle is compliant with all relevant safety standards.


Teamwork: Collaborate with INGO staff and other drivers to ensure efficient coordination of transportation activities.
